Pasta Carbonara recipe

It’s dinner time. Want to serve something which is easy to cook and doesn’t require a ton of ingredients – this one is an ideal choice. Pasta Carbonara.

Ingredients for Pasta Carbonara

  • 300g spaghetti
  • 1 egg
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 5 spring onions
  • 150g low fat soft cheese
  • 150ml of skim milk
  • 50g low fat hard cheese


Take a large saucepan with water and bring it to boil. Add spaghetti and cook it for 8-10 minutes. Don’t forget to stir. Drain the pasta and return it back to the saucepan.

Slice bacon in to small pieces. Chop the onions finely. Add oil, preferably vegetable oil, to a frying pan. One table spoon should be enough and heat it. Cook bacon and onions for about 5 minutes. Don’t forget to stir.

Mix together soft cheese and egg. Stir in cooked bacon with onion and add milk. When finished add it all to a saucepan with pasta. Add ground black pepper to taste.

Cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes stirring almost constantly.

That is it. Your pasta Carbonara is ready to be served. Add some grated hard cheese on top.
