Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, three eggs, one cup of water, and either ⅓ cup of vegetable oil or melted butter. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and bake for 28–30 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Allow the cake to cool for about 10–15 minutes. Poke holes all over the surface with the handle of a wooden spoon.
  5. In two separate bowls, dissolve one package of strawberry Jello and one package of lime Jello in ½ cup of boiling water each.
  6. Spoon the strawberry Jello over one half of the cake and the lime Jello over the other half. Allow it to seep into the holes.
  7. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
  8. Spread the thawed Cool Whip evenly across the top and sprinkle with holiday sprinkles before serving.
