Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 pounds Ground Beef Use 80/20 for best flavor
  • 16 ounces Refried Beans 1 can
  • 10 ounces Enchilada Sauce 1 can
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 16 ounces Salsa 1 jar
For the Serving
  • 10 medium-sized Hamburger Buns
Optional Toppings
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Shredded Lettuce
  • Sour Cream
  • Chopped Tomatoes

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Brown and crumble 2 pounds of ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes. Drain grease.
  2. Transfer cooked beef to a 5-6 quart slow cooker, breaking up clumps.
  3. Stir in refried beans, enchilada sauce, taco seasoning, and salsa until well combined.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours, checking occasionally.
  5. Serve the mixture on soft hamburger buns, adding optional toppings as desired.
