  • 1 cup Ground meat beef, pork, chicken, turkey, or shrimp
  • 1 cup Finely chopped vegetables carrots, bell peppers, or mushrooms
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger minced
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil optional
  • 1 teaspoon Five-spice powder optional
For the Peanut Sauce
  • 1 cup Peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce for sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 cup Water adjust thickness as needed
For Brushing
  • 1 tablespoon Oil optional

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine your chosen ground meat, chopped vegetables, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and five-spice powder. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Take a dumpling wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges, fold, and seal tightly.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the dumplings evenly. Optionally brush with oil.
  5. Bake the dumplings for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, and add water to desired thickness.
  7. Serve the baked dumplings with peanut sauce for dipping.
