Step-by-Step Instructions for Roasted Cabbage Steaks
- Cut off the stems of each cabbage head and slice them in half. Quarter each half to create four thick cabbage steaks, about ¾ to 1 inch thick.
- Arrange the cabbage steaks on a lined baking sheet in a single layer, leaving space between them.
- Drizzle approximately 3 tablespoons of olive oil over each steak and sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, and 2 teaspoons of paprika.
- Flip each steak and repeat the oiling and seasoning process on the other side. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the cabbage steaks for about 25 minutes, until golden-brown and crispy.
