  • 22 slices pepperoni for Santa's hat
  • 6 slices white cheddar, cracker cut for Santa's face base
  • 5 slices white cheddar, cracker cut for additional trim if needed
  • 2 pieces black olives, pitted for eyes
For the Nose and Cheeks
  • 2 pieces cherry tomatoes, halved for nose and rosy cheeks
For the Beard and Hat Details
  • 7 slices provolone, deli sliced for pom-pom and mustache

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the platter base by laying a large round platter on your kitchen counter. Take 6 slices of white cheddar and arrange them in a circle for Santa's face.
  2. Add 22 slices of pepperoni in a half-circle at the top of the cheese to create Santa's hat.
  3. Trim the hat by placing 5 additional slices of white cheddar along the bottom edge of the pepperoni hat.
  4. Create the pom-pom by stacking a couple of deli-sliced provolone on one side of the pepperoni, arranged in a small pile.
  5. Make the eyes using the two black olives placed on the white cheddar slices.
  6. Assemble the nose using one half of the cherry tomato in the center for Santa’s nose and place the others on each side for rosy cheeks.
  7. Shape the mustache from a slice of provolone and position it just under the cherry tomato for Santa’s nose.
  8. Create the beard by cubing the remaining white cheddar and filling the bottom of the platter.
  9. Serve immediately for the best flavor and visual appeal.
