  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, melted butter, garlic, parsley, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Line the bottom of a baking dish with half of the lemon slices.
  5. Place the cod fillets in a single layer on top of the lemon slices.
  6. Pour the marinade evenly over the cod and top with remaining lemon slices.
  7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the cod flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Optionally broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes for a golden finish.
  9. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
