Crust
  • 24 pieces Oreo cookies crushed
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream whipped
Topping
  • 8 pieces Oreo cookies crushed
  • Whipped cream optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if baking the crust. Combine crushed Oreo cookies with melted unsalted butter, press into a springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth out the top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  5. Chill for at least 4 hours. Once set, remove the cheesecake, add crushed Oreos and optionally whipped cream for garnish.
  6. Slice and serve chilled, enjoying the delightful combination of flavors and textures.
