- Combine 2 cups of fresh berries and ½ cup of water in a large pot. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes.
- Once bubbling, add 2 cups of sugar, 1 tablespoon of citrus zest, ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves, and 1 packet of pectin. Stir until the sugar dissolves, for about 3 minutes.
- Continue to boil for 10–15 minutes, stirring constantly until thickened and glossy, coating the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and pour the jam into pre-sterilized jars, filling to about ¼ inch from the top. Seal immediately.
