  • 1 tablespoon chocolate cocoa powder for dusting
  • 1 cup cherries chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar. Whip until fluffy.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix brewed coffee and vanilla extract.
  3. Dip ladyfingers briefly into the coffee mixture and layer in a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Dust with half of the cocoa powder and scatter half of the chopped cherries.
  6. Repeat by layering remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, cocoa powder, and cherries.
  7. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours or overnight.
  8. Slice and serve, garnishing with extra cherries or cocoa powder if desired.
