Cooking Steps
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until onions become translucent.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart. Cook for 6-8 minutes until browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Pour in marinara sauce, sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Gently nestle frozen cheese ravioli into the sauce, cover the skillet and cook according to package instructions, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the ravioli and beef mixture. Cover and allow to melt for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Place the skillet under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until the top is golden. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve directly from the pan.
