Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
For the Sauté
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces Cremini mushrooms
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For the Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 0.75 cups Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cups Asiago cheese grated
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear the seasoned chicken breasts for about 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Sauté the sliced cremini mushrooms in the same skillet for 6–8 minutes.
  6. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Stir in Dijon mustard and chicken broth, simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  8. Pour in heavy cream and stir, simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  9. Gradually stir in grated Asiago cheese until melted and smooth.
  10. Return seared chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer for 2 minutes.
  11. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
