- Preheat the oven to 160 °C (320 °F) fan-forced and prepare the muffin tin with liners.
- Mix together the dry ingredients in a large bowl until combined.
- Combine the wet ingredients in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
- Fold in the chopped milk chocolate, reserving some for topping.
- Fill the muffin liners about two-thirds full with the batter.
- Sprinkle reserved chocolate chunks on top of the batter.
- Bake for 30–33 minutes, checking for doneness at the 30-minute mark.
- Prepare the ganache by pouring hot cream over dark chocolate and stir until smooth.
- Once muffins cool slightly, fill the centers with ganache.
