Toffee Instructions
- Prepare Your Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Melt the Butter: In a heavy-bottom saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat.

- Cook the Mixture: Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly for 10–12 minutes.
- Reach the Perfect Color: Cook until it turns a deep golden caramel color at 290°F (143°C).
- Pour and Spread the Toffee: Pour the toffee onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
- Add the Chocolate: Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the hot toffee and let them soften.
- Top with Nuts (Optional): Sprinkle chopped nuts over melted chocolate and gently press them in.
- Cool the Toffee: Allow it to cool completely at room temperature for about an hour.
- Break and Store the Toffee: Once hardened, break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
