- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice a slit into the top of each Hawaiian roll, cutting about ¾ of the way deep.
- Cut each slice of cheddar cheese into quarters and nestle one piece into each slit of the rolls.
- Insert one cocktail sausage into each roll and spoon chili over each sausage.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter, then stir in garlic salt and onion powder, and brush over the rolls.
- Sprinkle 1½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the buttered rolls.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
