Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Flip the salmon and cook for another 4-5 minutes until golden-brown.
  5. Remove the salmon and cover to keep warm.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  7. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for about 2 minutes.
  8. Add chopped spinach and stir until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Mix in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and nutmeg, cooking until smooth.
  10. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it, warming through.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
