  4. Return the sliced Italian sausages to the skillet, add the Italian seasoning, and mix well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Slice the sub rolls lengthwise, fill with the sausage and pepper mixture, ensuring each bite is packed with flavor.
  6. Top with provolone or mozzarella cheese and broil or bake in the oven at 375°F for 4–5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
