Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill pan or outdoor grill over high heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine dairy-free sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat, drizzle with olive oil, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Season the skirt steak with salt and cook on the grill or skillet for 3–4 minutes on each side.
  5. Slice jicama into thin rounds and lightly steam or microwave for 20 seconds.
  6. Layer jicama slices with lime crema, steak, cherry tomatoes, sweet onion, and cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately with lime wedges.
